Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Account Manager to join our team at The VPS Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with key client accounts, driving growth in these accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction and margin growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with key client accounts to drive growth and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Liaise with clients to minimize issues and ensure timely delivery of services
  • Work across functions to ensure The VPS Group delivers against its obligations under contracts and maintains long-term relationships with key stakeholders
  • Qualify incoming customer enquirers to facilitate new trade or redirect/re-route to other areas of business if necessary
  • End-to-end onboarding process, including first-line communication for The VPS Group Helpdesk and liaison with Credit Manager for emergency credit checks and account opening
  • Communicate credit facility options with prospective customers and manage digital customer account application processes
  • Build recognition and awareness of The VPS Group brand and propositions within your portfolio of accounts via online meetings and phone calls
  • Pipeline growth: establish new revenue streams for The VPS Group and group
  • Insight: establish competitor information and drivers that prevent lead conversion or additional revenue streams

Requirements:

  • Excellent administration and organization skills for onboarding activities
  • Good customer service and relationship management experience
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work as part of a fluid team
  • Sales experience with a desire to develop a career in sales/account management
  • Experience working with property developers and/or large FM providers
