Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full-time)

Annual Leave: 35 days including public holidays

Salary: £27,598 - £30,019 per annum (pay award pending) Sponsorship: Not applicable for this vacancy

Position Overview: Highland Hospice is in search of a detail-oriented and proactive Administrator to become a part of our Hospice Services Department. This role involves a diverse range of responsibilities, providing support to various staff members and volunteers, while also serving as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders and families of patients. You will be part of a close-knit team that operates with a high level of integrity and sensitivity, delivering efficient administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As one of two Administrators for Hospice Services, you will engage in a broad and varied administrative role, collaborating with departments that assist patients in both the In-Patient Unit and community settings.
  • A self-motivated individual, you will excel at multitasking and utilizing your initiative to effectively plan, prioritize, and manage your workload.
  • Your role will encompass assisting a variety of medical, clinical, and support staff, ensuring seamless back-office operations that allow teams to concentrate on patient care.
  • Handle and maintain sensitive and confidential information with the utmost security.
  • Recognize the value of volunteer contributions and assist them with any inquiries they may have.

  • Experience in a busy office environment supporting multiple staff members while managing a workload with competing deadlines.
