We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Workman LLP. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial reports, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with company procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, and colleagues to ensure a best-in-class service.
- Lead the Assistant Client Accountant and Accounts Administrator team, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to internal and client KPIs.
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly client reports, including VAT and IPD reporting.
- Ensure all client KPIs are met and company procedures are followed.
- Review and provide feedback on the work of Assistant Client Accountants and Accounts Administrators.
- Train and develop the skills of Assistant Client Accountants and Accounts Administrators.
- Cash management of client funds, ensuring timely transfers in line with client requirements.
- Manage lease information and resolve client and tenant queries.
- ACCA or AAT qualification preferred.
- Strong numeracy and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- IT and software skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
- Hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of three days in the office.
- Full-time contract with core hours of 10am-4pm, offering flexibility.
