Semi Senior Accountant Role

Integro Accounting Limited is a reputable and established accountancy practice, providing services to small businesses and individuals. We are seeking a semi senior accountant to join our team, assisting with our growing client base.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for the right individual to grow their career within a forward-thinking and growing business. The successful candidate will be given a small client base with full mentorship, with the aim of gradually moving into a full client manager role in line with business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Attend client meetings and provide expert advice
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, payroll submissions, and P11D returns
  • Assist clients with software packages and perform tax planning exercises
  • Prepare self-assessment tax returns, year-end accounts, and corporation tax returns
  • Liaise with HMRC and Companies House, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Prepare residential property capital gains reports and assist with Companies House changes
  • Work with management on projects, providing financial expertise and guidance
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an accountancy practice environment
  • Knowledge of FreeAgent and Xero is desirable, but not required
  • Ideal candidate would be studying towards their ACCA qualification or have AAT qualification
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, with strong organisation and communication skills
  • Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow
