About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Cheltenham. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for supporting a varied client portfolio, undertaking a range of assignments including preparation of accounts, VAT submissions, and tax returns.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with our senior management team, including supporting Partners with projects, and will be expected to champion your own professional development, learning from an experienced team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a varied client portfolio, undertaking a range of assignments including preparation of accounts, VAT submissions, and tax returns.
  • Work closely with our senior management team, including supporting Partners with projects.
  • Champion your own professional development, learning from an experienced team.
  • Liaise directly with clients, building good rapport and handling queries.
Requirements
  • ACCA or ACA qualified, part qualified, or planning to study in the near future.
  • Previous experience supporting clients within practice.
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Multi-tasker with great time management and a can-do attitude to problem-solving.
