Data Governance Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Director to join our Clinical Data Standards & Transparency team at Johnson & Johnson. As a key member of our Innovative Medicine team, you will be responsible for providing strategic oversight of document anonymization policies and procedures across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement global policies supporting document anonymization
  • Manage a team of Data Transparency Regulatory Document associates
  • Plan and budget document anonymization activities, including vendor management and oversight
  • Contribute to industry forums to shape industry best practices on document anonymization and regulatory policies on document publication
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Global Development, Medical Writing, Therapeutic Areas, Legal and Patent Department, and Bioethics and Privacy
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and industry associations

Requirements:

  • PhD or other advanced degree in a scientific discipline (biological, chemical, medical, or statistical discipline preferred)
  • At least 10 years' of relevant pharmaceutical/scientific experience (in clinical development or medical writing preferably)
  • Expertise in principles and practice of clinical data transparency
  • Detailed knowledge of document anonymization, including both qualitative and risk-based quantitative approaches
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with project management software such as Excel or Monday
