About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Performance Support professional to join our team at Royal Mail. As an Operations Performance Support specialist, you will provide administrative support to our Operations Performance Leader, ensuring the smooth operation of our delivery office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Operations Performance Leader, including scheduling and planning performance reviews and coaching sessions.
  • Produce reports to support the coaching process and manage tasks associated with managerial absence, OT & TOIL, and annual leave.
  • Manage the Operations Performance Leader's diary, ensuring that coaching reviews and performance reviews are scheduled for each period.
  • Assist the Operations Performance Leader with preparations for coaching and performance reviews, including slide packs, performance information, room bookings, and invitations.
  • Authorise travel requests and other administrative tasks, such as note-taking for Conduct, Grievance, and Attendance cases.
  • Complete the nationally designed Managerial Resourcing Tool (MRT) for managerial resourcing, including initial manpower planning, liaison with the Operations Performance Leader, and compliance with managerial cover resourcing rules.
  • Oversee managerial annual leave allocation and administer the process for leave booking each year in accordance with guidelines.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a good working knowledge of Microsoft systems, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with personal information and company performance data.

You will also need to be flexible, willing to travel within the Operations Performance area as required, and have exceptional organisational and time management skills to manage your workload and meet deadlines.
