We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at Simplify. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all company payrolls, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and day-to-day management of a Payroll Administrator.
Key Responsibilities- Process payrolls accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
- Manage the day-to-day activities of a Payroll Administrator, providing guidance and support as needed
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external vendors
- Provide advice and support to the Head of People Services & Reward and the CPO on various initiatives and projects
- Supervise and mentor a junior team member, providing guidance and development opportunities
- Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- IT proficiency, including advanced knowledge of Excel
