Renewable Energy Project Manager

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering is essential.
  • Previous experience in a Project Management or Engineering role is required.
  • Familiarity with photovoltaic (PV) solar systems is necessary.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices.
  • Understanding of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) regulations applicable to construction projects.
  • Proficient in Project Risk Management and Control methodologies.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and subcontracting practices.
  • A valid UK driving license and personal transportation are mandatory.
  • Certifications such as CSCS, SSSTS, or SMSTS are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee a range of projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and fulfillment of client expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout project execution.
  • Manage project financials, including accurate invoicing, cash flow management, and client retention strategies.
  • Analyze and reconcile project expenditures, addressing any inconsistencies.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Efficiently allocate time for project management tasks.
  • Conduct Post Implementation Reviews to extract valuable insights for future projects.
