We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled PR Account Director to join our team at Climate17 | B Corp™. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight of delivery for our renewable energy clients' projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to meet the needs of our renewable energy clients.
- Lead the execution of corporate communications programs and stakeholder relations for consultation projects.
- Quality control all areas of agency outputs, including press releases, internal copy, and client relationships.
- Negotiate major media promotions and advertorials.
- Alert clients to PR risk or opportunities, including those presented by broader areas of corporate responsibility.
- Select and develop sponsorships, including planning, contractual agreements, and activity organization.
- Provide high-level advice on strategic issues and media handling issues, including crisis management.
Requirements:
- Several years' experience in a Senior Account Manager role, as well as a degree-level qualification in PR / Marketing.
- Ideal experience delivering PR within the renewables sector.
- Passion for work and ability to encourage passion in others.
- Thorough understanding of the media and communication skills needed, as well as business skills to grow accounts within the context and plans of the agency.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Applications.
- Proficient in media database management and management of financial systems for team accounting purposes.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape and activities of other marketing disciplines as used by clients.
- Proven and effective client relationships, quality controlling all aspects of client programs.
