We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Edinburgh. This role will be a critical member of our team, responsible for developing renewable energy projects in the UK, with a focus on onshore wind.

We are looking for passionate and talented individuals who share our vision of delivering effective and high-quality green energy projects. As a Project Manager, you will support and manage a number of renewable energy projects, progressing from inception through to consent and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within the Development Team to support the de-risking of early-stage projects and progress projects through the development process.
  • Undertake analysis to identify renewable energy opportunities against key criteria.
  • Contribute to preliminary and detailed multidisciplinary studies during the prospecting, site assessment, EIA, planning/consenting, and design phases of all renewable developments.
  • Coordinate external consultants to undertake Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and planning/consenting submissions.
  • Progress projects in a timely manner to contractual conclusion and planning consent.
  • Develop and implement an effective stakeholder and communications strategy to engage with and build trusted relationships with landowners, local communities, planning authorities, statutory consultees, and other key stakeholders.
  • Work with familiar software to analyze sites and support the wider team to identify the viability for commercial renewable projects.
  • Develop and maintain project registers for each project managed.
  • Manage and monitor project risks and budget and report to the management team on project progress.
  • Liaise effectively with team members to ensure projects are suitably supported and any other reasonable tasks required to support the team in delivering our projects.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • UK Driving Licence.
  • Project management, organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working on projects with evolving scopes, in the context of competing priorities.
  • Capable of developing and building excellent stakeholder and community relationships.
  • Collaborative working across the company and multiple projects.
  • Critical thinking, initiative, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prepare and write clear, high-quality, concise, accurate reports and communications in English.
  • Ability to manage own time effectively and prioritize own workload to allow timely delivery of tasks.
