Job Overview:

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead and manage the construction of multiple solar farms in Scotland responsibility for overseeing additional solar projects across the UK. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in managing similar projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and final handover.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and plans to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Oversee multiple solar projects across the UK, focusing on the 50MW project in Scotland.
  • Provide expertise in all electrical aspects of the project, ensuring that designs and installations meet the required standards.
  • Work closely with engineers and contractors to ensure that electrical systems are optimized for performance.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Ensure that all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Handle any changes in project scope, schedule, or budget, keeping stakeholders informed.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.


Experience:

  • At least 5 years of project management experience, with 3 years in renewable energy, ideally solar/BESS.
  • Experience managing large-scale solar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems related to solar energy.


Skills:

  • Good project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and team coordination.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with project management software and electrical design tools.
  • Knowledge of UK regulations for electrical installations and renewable energy.
  • Willing to travel across the UK.
  • Valid driver's license.
