Key Responsibilities

We are in search of a seasoned clinician who, while operating within their professional scope, will deliver comprehensive care to patients presenting with various health concerns. This includes:

  • Making independent clinical decisions for which they are responsible.
  • Serving as the initial point of contact for patients with undiagnosed health issues, utilizing skills in history taking, clinical evaluation, and problem-solving to formulate a diagnosis and treatment plan.
  • Initiating necessary diagnostic tests and interpreting the results effectively.
  • As a certified prescriber, providing safe and appropriate medication in accordance with current regulations.
  • Delivering evidence-based, individualized patient care that is both safe and cost-effective.
  • Offering a holistic approach to patient care, developing ongoing support plans with a focus on prevention and self-management.
  • Promoting health and wellness through education, screening, and effective communication.
  • Facilitating referrals to other services as needed.
  • Leading the development and implementation of specialized primary care services, particularly in managing chronic conditions.
  • Collaborating with healthcare colleagues to ensure adherence to national health frameworks.
  • Contributing to the practice's quality targets to maintain high standards of patient care.

Additionally, the role involves:

  • Identifying community health needs and creating patient-centered strategies to address them.
  • Assisting in the establishment of new patient services and enhancing existing ones.
