Job Advert Role Description

We are eager to expand our committed and skilled team of care assistants at our facility.

Our establishment is a newly constructed facility featuring nine bedrooms with private bathrooms and three self-sufficient apartments equipped with both private bathrooms and kitchen amenities for daily living. Residents can also enjoy various communal spaces, including two spacious lounges with access to outdoor patios and a private garden, a tranquil lounge, and a large kitchen and dining area.

This residential service caters to both male and female adults who have transitioned from hospital care but still require a supportive living environment. Our facility offers a comprehensive step-down service from hospital care, secure rehabilitation, and crisis admissions for individuals needing additional support from the community. The availability of self-contained apartments serves as a pathway to greater independence.

Do you believe in providing exceptional care and support to everyone? Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in people's lives? Do you aspire to assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and dreams?

We share this passion and are dedicated to delivering outstanding care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, Prader-Willi Syndrome, or mental health challenges. As a care assistant, you will play a vital role in numerous inspiring stories of care and support for our residents.

In this role, you will assist residents in their daily activities, encouraging them to live as independently as possible. You may also participate in engaging activities outside the facility, as our residents often enjoy outings, charity events, and more.

Our ideal care assistant will:

Be dependable, compassionate, and supportive in helping our residents achieve their daily objectives (including personal care) Be capable of facilitating in-house activities and hobbies Be observant and motivate our residents to reach their full potential Be resilient and assist in managing challenging behaviors

While having a driver's license is beneficial for taking residents on outings, it is not a requirement for employment – we welcome many non-drivers as well.

What we offer:

A fulfilling job filled with variety and opportunities for professional growth Comprehensive, ongoing training to enhance your skills Support from a knowledgeable and friendly team of colleagues A range of salary sacrifice benefits, cashback rewards, pension options, and more Access to our Career Pathways, which will help you shape your career with us – you can work towards goals and milestones that will guide your career in any direction you choose

We encourage you to reach out for an informal discussion about this opportunity.
