About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Police Enquiry Officer. As a key member of our front-line team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to the public, responding to enquiries, and reporting incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a high level of customer service to the public, responding to enquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Receive and record information accurately and efficiently, using our systems and processes to ensure seamless communication.
  • Deal with a wide range of enquiries, providing advice, information, and guidance on policing responsibilities and legislation.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive issues to other police resources as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple demands.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word, with the ability to use multiple bespoke IT systems.
  • Full driving licence (unless prevented by reason of disability).
