About the Role

Prospectus-4 is delighted to be supporting a cultural institution in their search for a Fundraising Manager (maternity cover) to join their team for a 12-14 month period. The organization is a renowned cultural venue in Kent, with excellent connections to surrounding cities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a funding strategy to support the organization's new multi-million-pound project, 'Safeguarding the Castle for the Next 900 Years.'
  • Drive forward the fundraising strategy, strengthen the trusts and foundations pipeline, and apply for match funding opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Head of Audience Development & Fundraising to achieve funding goals.
  • Build relationships with trusts, foundations, public bodies, and individuals to secure funding.
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities and develop a pipeline of potential funders.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge and experience in trust and foundations fundraising, with a clear record of funding achievement.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Good research and relationship-building skills, with a keen eye for securing great financial results.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid role, with some attendance required at the organization's office in Kent.
