About the RoleThe Fundraising Manager will play a crucial role in delivering a funding strategy to support Leeds Castle's new multi-million-pound project, 'Safeguarding the Castle for the Next 900 Years'. This involves driving forward the fundraising strategy, strengthening the trusts and foundations pipeline, and applying for match funding opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure funds from trusts, foundations, public bodies, and individuals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including trusts, foundations, and corporate partners.
- Research and identify new funding opportunities, including match funding and major gifts.
- Collaborate with the Head of Audience Development & Fundraising to drive forward the fundraising strategy.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising activities and make recommendations for improvement.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in trust and foundations fundraising, with a clear record of funding achievement. They will be an excellent writer, with a strong attention to detail, and a good researcher and relationship builder. The salary for this role is £45k - £48k, depending on experience, and flexible working conditions can be considered.
