About the Role

The Fundraising Manager will play a crucial role in delivering a funding strategy to support Leeds Castle's new multi-million-pound project, 'Safeguarding the Castle for the Next 900 Years.'

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive forward the fundraising strategy, strengthening the trusts and foundations pipeline and applying for match funding opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Head of Audience Development & Fundraising to secure funding from trusts, foundations, public bodies, and individuals.
  • Research and build relationships with potential funders, identifying new opportunities and securing financial support.
  • Develop and implement effective fundraising systems and processes, ensuring a strong pipeline of funders.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in trust and foundations fundraising, with a clear record of funding achievement.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling funding proposals and reports.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify new funding opportunities and build relationships with potential funders.
  • Experience of working in a hybrid role, with the ability to balance office-based and remote work.
