Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Chairperson to lead the strategic direction and growth of our dynamic and rapidly expanding leisure business. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for guiding our company's vision, mission, and values, while driving business expansion and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to our executive team, ensuring the company's continued growth and success.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to drive revenue growth and expansion.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the development and implementation of operational strategies, processes, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective business operations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and customers.
  • Corporate Governance: Ensure the company's governance framework is robust, effective, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with the executive team, board of directors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Chairperson or in a senior leadership role within a medium to large-scale business, preferably in the leisure or hospitality industry.
  • International Experience: Demonstrated experience in the international leisure industry, with a wealth of high-level network connections and a proven ability to leverage these relationships for business growth and expansion.
  • Corporate Governance: Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles and experience in overseeing boards and executive teams.
  • Strategic Planning: A deep understanding of strategic planning and execution, with a track record of driving growth and innovation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge: A genuine interest in the leisure industry and a commitment to enhancing customer experiences.
