About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Chairperson to guide the strategic direction and growth of a dynamic and rapidly expanding leisure business with a portfolio of over 20 locations across the UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in executive leadership, preferably within the leisure or hospitality industry, and a proven track record of driving business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the business, leveraging international experience and connections to drive growth and expansion.
- Oversee the board and executive team, ensuring effective governance and decision-making.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, innovation, and customer experience enhancement.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and customers.
- Offer guidance and support to the business, with a commitment to enhancing customer experiences.
Requirements:
- Proven executive experience in the leisure or hospitality industry, with a strong track record of driving business growth and innovation.
- International experience and connections, with a proven ability to leverage these relationships for business growth and expansion.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles and experience in overseeing boards and executive teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A genuine interest in the leisure industry and a commitment to enhancing customer experiences.
