About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Paid Social Business Director to lead our team at Assembly Global. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for directing a team of specialists to deliver best-in-class performance for our clients. You will be a specialist in full funnel Paid Social with deep platform knowledge across Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, and more for both Brand and Performance activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Paid Social specialists to deliver impeccable activation and enforce the highest standards of Paid Social success.
  • Provide strategic insight and develop your team of specialists to drive business growth for our clients.
  • Monitor and govern the systems and technology in place to identify issues and provide solutions to fix things before they become a problem.
  • Train your team to find the insight that can help us fuel growth for clients and continually challenge the status quo.
  • Support with department resource planning and recruitment.
  • Be an active senior leader of the social community and an escalation point for your direct team and others in the department.
  • Collaborate with other departments in the agency to deliver on projects for clients.
  • Be involved in new business pitches and identify opportunities for up/cross-selling of our services.
  • Be a thought-leader, writing whitepapers and blog posts on the latest news and updates for Paid Social.
Requirements
  • Work to the highest standard and always on time.
  • Be a self-starter with a passion for Paid Social and marketing.
  • Be a leader for Paid Social knowledge, with evidence of own thought leadership and up-to-date certifications.
  • Be operationally proficient with project management skills and demonstrate a clear ability to manage multiple tasks and differing priorities.
  • Have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Have experience working with large multi-market clients, budget, and strategy for Paid Social.
  • Have strong knowledge of both Brand Performance led Paid Social planning and Campaign Activation, including advanced Paid Social products.
  • Be an effective communicator and able to talk to clients clearly about performance and strategy.
  • Have experience managing resourcing on a large account and the ability to outline effective roles and responsibilities for each level within the team.
  • Have experience in line management and setting development plans for your direct reports.
  • Have expert knowledge of Paid Social platforms and areas such as Attribution, Viewability, and Incrementality measurement.
  • Be proactive in identifying solutions to problems and preventing issues.
