Open For Business is a coalition of leading global companies dedicated to LGBTQ+ inclusion. Our mission is to build the business and economic case for LGBTQ+ inclusion in countries where the situation is challenging.
Our Regional ProgrammesWe have several dedicated regional programmes, including those currently operating in the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, and East Africa. Each of these programmes works with advocates in the local business communities, strengthening local business voices by providing them with evidence and fact-based arguments.
Global Research and InitiativesWe undertake global research to tackle pressing issues such as LGBTQ+ inclusion in emerging markets and LGBTQ+ inclusion and the UN's Sustainable Development goals. Every two years we publish our City Ratings which ranks cities on both economic competitiveness and LGBTQ+ inclusiveness.
The Role of Our TrusteesOur Trustees are responsible for developing strategy, providing governance, and directing the charity towards achieving its mission. We are looking to appoint a new trustee as chair of our People & Operations Committee, with special responsibility for oversight of the organisation's people strategy and function.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the organisation's people strategy and function
- Provide governance and oversight of the organisation's operations
- Contribute to the development of the charity's overall strategy and direction
