Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to join our Direct Procurement Team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality goods and services to support our Formula One car development. You will work closely with our engineering teams to ensure that all procurement requirements are met, and that our suppliers deliver to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure parts and materials for specific regions of the car, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.

  • Generate purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and maintain timely reporting of delivery status.

  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers, focusing on tactical and strategic development to optimize total value delivery.

  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure best value and robustness within the supply chain.

  • Rationalize and develop the supply base to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Provide procurement leadership to internal stakeholders, using influencing skills to drive results.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in procurement and supply chain management is essential.

  • Strong technical background and knowledge, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and communicate effectively with design and other stakeholders.

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing sector.

  • Self-motivated, innovative, and able to work unsupervised to challenging deadlines.

  • Effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Experience with Microsoft D365 ERP system is advantageous.
