Company Overview

Ham Polo Club London is a premier polo club located in a stunning location on the edge of Richmond Park. We are seeking an experienced Events and Partnerships Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our business.

Job Summary

The Events and Partnerships Manager will be responsible for managing events and sponsorship opportunities at the Club, end-to-end. This role will promote the Club for polo and non-polo business opportunities, increasing its profile and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Management
    • Manage events and sponsorship opportunities at the Club, including polo and non-polo events.
    • Develop and implement event strategies to increase revenue and improve customer experience.
    • Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Sales and Marketing
    • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and improve brand awareness.
    • Source and promote sponsorship opportunities at the Club, including stand-alone polo days.
    • Promote learn to play and lessons at the Club, working with the polo team to maximize income.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees, sponsors, and stakeholders.
    • Communicate effectively with the Club's management team, staff, and external partners.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage event budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
    • Process invoices and payments for events and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure the Club's health and safety policies are implemented and maintained.
    • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate risks.
  • Security
    • Ensure the security of the Club's site and assets at all times.
  • Community Engagement
    • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to promote the Club's brand and values.
    • Attend community meetings and events as required.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in event management, sales, or marketing.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software.
  • Education
    • Degree in a relevant field, such as event management, marketing, or business administration.
