Assistant General Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Talent Finder Careers. Our client is a well-established family-run pub group in The New Forest with a reputation for excellent food, drinks, and service.

The successful candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a proven track record of leading and inspiring teams in a demanding operation. They will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the pub, including front and back of house operations, and will have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food and drinks.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer relations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and staff engagement.
  • Work closely with the management team to achieve business objectives and drive growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a hospitality management role, preferably in a pub or restaurant environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
