Assistant General Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Assistant General Manager to join our team at Cameron Clarke Associates. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pub, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and motivate a team of staff to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Oversee all aspects of pub operations, including front and back of house, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, including menu planning, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and control costs, including stock management, waste reduction, and energy efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to set and achieve business objectives, including sales targets, customer satisfaction, and staff retention.
