Position Summary
SSE Distribution is seeking a Mobile Technology Support Consultant to join our Frontline Technology Team within the Distribution IT sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective integration of new technologies for our operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training and guidance on mobile technology and applications to ensure seamless integration within operational teams.
  • Organize and lead weekly support sessions at various locations to offer consistent assistance to staff.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with teams across Distribution and IT.
  • Work closely with Frontline Technology Leads to stay informed about ongoing and upcoming projects within the Technology Road Map.
  • Create a Technology Community to facilitate peer support, communication, and issue resolution.

Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Soft skills that enable the development and mentoring of junior staff.
  • Experience with mobile technology devices and digital applications.
  • Familiarity with PowerApp development is a plus.
  • A valid UK driving license due to travel requirements.
