About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at St.Georges Hospital, part of the Midlands Partnership Trust NHS. As a key member of our mental health team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with a range of mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Form trusting relationships with patients and their families, providing tailored support plans to meet their individual needs.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, promoting the physical and mental wellbeing of patients.
  • Administer medication, monitor patients' vital signs, and provide emotional support to those in need.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients, including therapists, psychiatrists, and social workers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest mental health best practices and theories, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  • At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in mental health nursing.
  • 6 months of recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
  • Enhanced background check.
