Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at St.Georges Hospital, part of the Midlands Partnership Trust NHS. As a key member of our mental health team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with a range of mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Form trusting relationships with patients and their families, providing tailored support plans to meet their individual needs.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, promoting the physical and mental wellbeing of patients.
- Administer medication, monitor patients' vital signs, and provide emotional support to those in need.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients, including therapists, psychiatrists, and social workers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mental health best practices and theories, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in mental health nursing.
- 6 months of recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
