About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Single Point of Access Volunteer. As a key member of our Derbyshire Recovery and Peer Support Service, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the DRPSS service, including filing and document organization.
  • Offer basic advice, guidance, and telephone support to service users.
  • Assist with signposting and referral options as required.
  • Upload documents to our systems and maintain accurate records.
  • Follow up on 'On Hold' referrals and update information as necessary.
  • Contribute to responding to emails and organizing the DRPSS outlook inbox.
  • Provide updates to individuals currently on a waiting list for service.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic IT knowledge and proficiency in using office software.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good local knowledge of mental health support services.
