Job Description

Reporting into the Group Facilities Audit & Sourcing Manager and collaborating with the wider Unitary team, this role will be responsible for ensuring all equipment inventory within the Unitary department is accurate and within budget, ensuring stock levels are in line with store openings. The individual will also be responsible for profiling drawings and allocating Equipment as per guidelines.

Equipment Management

  • Allocation, and usage of all company equipment.
  • Ensure timely distribution and return of equipment as required by projects or departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, condition, and location in tracking systems.

Inventory Control

  • Perform regular inventory checks to ensure equipment levels meet operational demands.
  • Monitor stock levels and submit requests for purchasing new equipment or spare parts.
  • Keep detailed records of equipment inflows, outflows, and current availability.

Supplier and Vendor Coordination

  • Consult with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure timely delivery of equipment and follow up on outstanding orders.
  • Source new suppliers when necessary and manage vendor relationships.

Inventory Management:

  • Work with Unitary team and inventory management systems to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Resolve any issues related to product quality or supplier performance on a QA system.

Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Assist in preparing purchase orders.
  • Monitor expenditures and provide regular reports on equipment costs and usage. Identify cost-saving opportunities by optimizing equipment utilization and minimizing losses.

Qualifications

  • Strong administration and organisational skills with strong verbal, and written communication.
  • Ability to work with a variety of people ranging from your day-to-day team to senior members of the business and external partners.
  • Able to react quickly to quick changes, prioritising tasks, while maintaining strong attention to detail.
