Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an Operations Assistant to enhance our dynamic team. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of our operations and requires a proactive and adaptable individual.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Operations Assistant, your primary duties will include:

  • Serving as a liaison for both internal and external parties through various communication channels.
  • Providing timely assistance with inquiries and updating the Operations Manager as needed.
  • Managing email correspondence promptly and effectively.
  • Compiling damage reports following company protocols.
  • Supporting the European Controller in their operational tasks.
  • Keeping precise daily attendance records and assisting in monitoring employee absences.
  • Coordinating orders for necessary equipment.
  • Arranging accommodations and financial provisions for field teams.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors.
  • Assisting in the closure of removal files and directing them to the appropriate departments.
  • Conducting debrief sessions with crews upon their return.
  • Generating job sheets and related documentation for operational teams.
  • Allocating daily tasks for road and warehouse teams.
  • Responding to requests for information and support from colleagues across various departments.
  • Collaborating with other teams to address queries efficiently.
  • Working alongside the Operations Manager to develop and uphold departmental standard operating procedures.
  • Providing administrative support for ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Offering suggestions for process improvements to the Operations Manager.
  • Covering for colleagues during absences.
