Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at Principal Education. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting students' academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide targeted support to students who may face challenges in their learning.
  • Develop intervention plans: Collaborate with teachers to identify students in need of additional support and develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Monitor student progress: Assist in monitoring student progress and adapting strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Build strong relationships: Build strong relationships with students, encouraging positive attitudes toward learning and school life.
  • Liaise with stakeholders: Liaise with parents and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people: Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting, preferably in a mentoring or pastoral role.
  • Empathy and patience: Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting students' development.
  • Safeguarding commitment: A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
