Senior Pharmacy Technician

About the Role
University Hospital Monklands is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pharmacy Technician to contribute to the aseptic services team. As a key member of the senior pharmacy team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective provision of aseptically-prepared products that support patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Chief Pharmacy Technician and other Senior Pharmacy Technicians to provide leadership to the pharmacy technical workforce.
- Support the education, training, and development of pharmacy technicians.
- Contribute to the development of aseptic pharmacy services and ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Significant previous experience of contributing to pharmacy aseptic services.
- Excellent team-working skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate NHS Lanarkshire's core values of respect, fairness, quality, and working together.
