Materials Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic materials technician to join our team at Routes To Work South. The successful candidate will be based primarily in our materials testing laboratory in Chapelhall, Airdrie, with opportunities for site work throughout the UK and Ireland.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct testing on various construction materials.
- Sample materials on site for laboratory testing.
- Complete test sheets accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with senior staff on work schedules and priorities.
- Work within our in-house QA systems to ensure high levels of quality and safety.
- Self-motivated and hardworking with a hands-on approach.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work flexibly to support business needs.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and IT skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain high levels of health and safety.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
