Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Materials Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting various tests on construction materials, sampling materials on site for laboratory testing, and maintaining accurate records of all works undertaken.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conducting tests on various construction materials.
  • Sampling materials on site for laboratory testing.
  • Completing test sheets and maintaining accurate records.
  • Liaising with senior members of staff on work schedules.
  • Working within in-house QA systems to ensure compliance with UKAS accreditation.
  • Maintaining high levels of health and safety in line with company policies.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Self-motivated and hardworking with a hands-on approach to work.
  • Strong and flexible work ethic to support the needs of the business.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and IT skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and travel when required.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
