About the Role

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our aseptic services team. This role will be part of the senior pharmacy team and contribute to ensuring the safe and effective provision of aseptically-prepared products that support patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Chief Pharmacy Technician and other Senior Pharmacy Technicians to provide leadership to the pharmacy technical workforce.
  • Support the education, training, and development of pharmacy technicians.
  • Contribute to the development of aseptic services and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of aseptic products.

Requirements

  • Significant previous experience of contributing to pharmacy aseptic services.
  • Excellent team-working skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate NHS Lanarkshire's core values of respect, fairness, quality, and working together.
