About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Applications Scientist to support our X-ray activities, primarily in HRXRD, XRD, XRR, and XRDI. As a key member of our Applications team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our customers, particularly through demonstrations of product capabilities and sales presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers, showcasing the capabilities of our X-ray products.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their process metrology needs and devise applications to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with our engineering and production teams to qualify new technologies, algorithms, and methodologies.
  • Provide expert follow-up support to our sales staff and customer service personnel.
  • Develop and disseminate Best Known Methods (BKMs) for X-ray metrology applications.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in physics, chemistry, materials science, or engineering. You should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be fluent in English. Experience with X-ray materials characterization techniques, metrology, and problem analysis is highly desirable.
