About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Applications Scientist to support our X-ray activities, primarily in HRXRD, XRD, XRR, and XRDI. As a key member of our Applications team, you will be responsible for demonstrating product capabilities, providing technical support, and qualifying company X-ray products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support to customers, including demonstrations, sales presentations, and customer training.
  • Work closely with customers to assess potential applications of company products and develop solutions to meet their process metrology needs.
  • Collaborate with our engineering and production teams to qualify new technologies, algorithms, and methodologies.
  • Develop and disseminate Best Known Methods and provide expert follow-up support to sales staff and customer service personnel.
  • Support Product Managers in preparing product specifications and feeding back customer requirements for hardware and software development.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a degree in physics, chemistry, material science, or engineering. You should have a strong background in crystallography, thermodynamics, and metrology techniques, with experience in X-ray materials characterization and problem analysis.
