About the Role
Ramboll, a leading global environmental and health consultancy, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Environmental Due Diligence Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Compliance, Strategy and Transactions (CST) Department, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of environmental due diligence projects across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of environmental due diligence projects, including data room document reviews, confirmatory site visits, and reporting.
- Identify, assess, and communicate environmental risks and opportunities to clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare clear and concise environmental due diligence reports.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues and clients to understand transaction mechanics and client-side considerations.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of key UK and European environmental regulations and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in environmental policy and regulation.
- Build working relationships with our international environmental due diligence team to enhance project opportunities and develop international due diligence knowledge and experience.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in environmental due diligence consulting, including data room reviews, site visits, and reporting.
- Understanding of key due diligence concepts, such as seller vs. purchaser due diligence approaches.
- Ability to interpret and critically analyze environmental information, assess potential risks or opportunities, and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Professional understanding of the UK and key European environmental legal framework, including contamination-related liabilities and environmental compliance requirements.
- Ability to engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver results.
- Experience in project management or providing project management support in environmental due diligence.
