About the Role

Ramboll is a leading global provider of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) due diligence services. We support clients in hundreds of M&A transactions annually, acting for prominent private equity houses, multinational businesses, and legal firms.

As a Senior EHS Due Diligence Consultant, you will play a key role in the continued success of our transaction advisory practice, working on challenging projects for high-caliber clients as part of a collaborative and experienced global team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of environmental due diligence projects across various sectors, including data room document reviews, confirmatory site visits, and reporting.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate environmental risks and opportunities to enable informed decision-making by clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of key UK and European environmental regulations and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in environmental policy and regulation.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with our international environmental due diligence team to enhance opportunities for working on diverse projects and developing international due diligence knowledge and experience.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in environmental due diligence consulting, including data room reviews, site visits, and reporting for purchaser- and vendor-driven projects.
  • Ability to quickly interpret and critically analyze environmental information, assess potential risks or opportunities, and propose pragmatic solutions.
  • Professional understanding of the UK and key European environmental legal framework, including contamination-related liabilities and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work successfully with UK and international colleagues and sub-consultants to ensure timely and commercially successful delivery of environmental due diligence projects.
  • Experience in project management or providing project management support in relation to environmental due diligence.
