ERP IT Business Systems Analyst/ERP IT Applications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled ERP IT Business Systems Analyst/ERP IT Applications Analyst to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive application functionality, configuration, and support expertise for application software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Application Analysis and Evaluation: Analyze and evaluate ERP application functionality to provide recommendations for improving business processes and capabilities.
- Application Configuration and Setup: Determine and document optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications.
- Expertise in Oracle ERP: Develop expertise in the latest Oracle ERP application changes and solution trends and functionality, providing functional recommendations as required.
- Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant vendors to improve application functionality and resolve functionality issues.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert and point of contact on content related to assigned applications for projects and application support.
- Functional Specifications: Create and manage functional specifications for a given project from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the program, application, or complete solution.
- Customer Relationships: Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Solution Design and Documentation: Create complete Solution design documents, Test cases, and Test scripts as required.
- Process Design and Improvement: Create diagrams, models, and documentation to build a solution that meets buildability, business, technical, security, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Business Process Understanding: Extensive experience understanding business process and designing solutions as per business requirements.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot on peripheral integrations and manage complex issues.
- Oracle ERP Knowledge: In-depth understanding of EBS Table structure and functional knowledge and implementation experience in Oracle R12 EBS Modules, including Work in Process (WIP), Bill of Materials (BOM), Costing (CST), Inventory (INV), Oracle Warehouse Management, and Order Management (OM).
- Configuration and Solution Design: Experience in solution configuration and creating, designing, and formulating models, diagrams, and documentation using industry standards, tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Validation and Quality Assurance: Ability to validate a configuration item change or solution using the Function's defined best practices, including the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards, tools, and metrics, to ensure that it works as designed and meets customer requirements.
