Job Title: Deputy Home Manager - Nursing

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Home Manager to join our team at a leading nursing home in the Knutsford, Cheshire area. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and deputise for the Home Manager, providing leadership and guidance to nursing and care colleagues.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care, ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
  • Focus on residents with complex needs, utilising your nursing skills and managerial expertise to make informed decisions and maintain clinical governance.
  • Develop and implement care plans, conducting regular assessments and audits to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide personalised, centred care to all residents.
Requirements:
  • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience, with a strong background in nursing and care.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with service users and their families.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
  • Good clinical skills and knowledge of care programs.
