About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Gategroup. As a key member of our culinary innovation team, you will be responsible for driving culinary excellence and innovation within our UK and Ireland operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Innovation: Develop and implement innovative culinary concepts and menus that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our menu development teams to create and launch new menu items that are aligned with our business objectives.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with our customers to understand their needs and preferences, and develop solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of culinary professionals to ensure that our culinary standards are met and exceeded.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence within our culinary operations, including process standardization, purchasing compliance, and quality assurance.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets and financial targets to ensure that our culinary operations are profitable and efficient.
Requirements
  • Education: Culinary and/or catering/hospitality qualifications, such as a degree or diploma.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in managing large-scale food manufacturing departments, with a proven track record of driving culinary innovation and excellence.
  • Skills: Lean management skills, good oral and written communication skills, excellent presentation skills, and intermediate IT skills.
