  • Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of junior chefs and commis, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Estimate daily production needs and ensure that the quality of raw and cooked food products meets the highest standards.
  • Coordinate with the Sous Chef to ensure that all kitchen duties are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring that all staff are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the culinary experience for our customers.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certification.
  • Proven experience as a senior chef in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
