Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Pathway Support Clerk to join our team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Long Term and Unscheduled Care Directorate, you will play a vital role in delivering an efficient and high-quality medical records service.

Main Responsibilities

As a Patient Pathway Support Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the accurate storage, retrieval, and management of patient health records, including preparing and making notes available for Outpatient clinics.
  • Inputting data and managing appointments on our electronic patient administration system.
  • Making, changing, or canceling appointments on the phone in line with Trust policies and procedures.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English grade D or above, or NVQ Level 2 or above in Business Administration.
  • Previous experience of working as a team.

Desirable qualifications include training in iCS, eRS, CRIS, and SystmOne, as well as previous experience working in a Medical Records Department or within the NHS.
