About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Pathway Support Clerk at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. This role is essential to providing safe care to our patients by ensuring that medical records are in the right place at the right time for patients to be treated and then returned to the correct storage location.

Main Responsibilities

  • Storage, retrieval, and management of patient health records, ensuring that notes are prepared and available for Outpatient clinics and that they contain the correct documents.
  • Inputting data and managing appointments on the electronic patient administration system.
  • Making, changing, or canceling appointments on the phone in line with Trust policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English grade D or above or NVQ Level 2 or above in Business Administration.
  • Previous experience of working as a team.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Trained in iCS, eRS, CRIS, and SystmOne.
  • Previous experience of working in a Medical Records Department.
  • Previous experience of working within the NHS.
