We are seeking motivated and flexible Neurodevelopmental Care Nurses for both permanent and temporary roles to join our compassionate and forward-thinking team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the evaluation and management of children and adolescents referred for assessment, ensuring high-quality care in accordance with organizational policies and care pathways.
  • Assist in diagnostic evaluations conducted by medical professionals.
  • Assess clinical priorities and develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Continuously review the services provided to children and adolescents affected by neurodevelopmental disorders, recommending adjustments to care delivery as necessary.
  • Offer support, education, and guidance to children with neurodevelopmental disorders and their families, as well as collaborating with health and educational professionals.
  • Deliver an integrated service by working closely with pediatricians and other neurodevelopmental nurses, coordinating with relevant agencies in selected cases.
  • Enhance understanding and management of neurodevelopmental conditions.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Registered Nurse (RNLD, RMN, RN, RCN) or SCPHN Qualification or equivalent experience.

Desirable:

  • Community Nursing qualification, advanced degree, or equivalent experience. Non-Medical Prescriber.

Experience

Essential:

  • Significant experience at Band 6 level in pediatric or children's services, with a solid understanding of the challenges faced by young people.

Desirable:

  • Background in Community Pediatrics or specialized nursing in developmental needs within educational settings.
