About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Manager to join our team at Eversheds Sutherland. As a Pricing Manager, you will play a key role in preparing financial and pricing responses for client RFP submissions and other client pitch materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to ensure optimal revenue growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with partners and the pitch team to price work and client rate agreements.
  • Provide pricing support to groups and sectors, becoming a key pricing contact.
  • Assist partners in understanding financial and pricing levers in their respective areas.
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support pricing decisions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business, providing pricing expertise throughout the pricing, bid, and matter lifecycle.
  • Engage in client-facing fee negotiations and meetings.
  • Support the development and delivery of pricing-related projects.
  • Ensure compliance with the firm-wide pricing policy and monitor its implementation.
  • Conduct post-completion reviews to analyze matter profitability.
  • Produce and interpret financial information and analysis for departments, partners, and fee earners.
  • Lead a small team of pricing analysts and deliver training collateral to the Partnership and other functions to share pricing best practices.
  • Provide ad-hoc project support as required.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in Pricing or Commercial Finance in the Legal sector or professional services.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with lawyers, professional-level business services employees, and peers.
  • Experience leading cross-practice and multi-jurisdictional proposals or similar complex projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working independently and within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a professional services or corporate environment.
  • Educated to degree level or higher, preferably in a related field.
  • CIMA, ACCA, or MBA qualification preferred.
