About the Role

Card Factory is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our IT team, focusing on Supply Chain and Business Development. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business, project, and development teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Engineering: Lead the requirements engineering process, ensuring traceability and alignment with business strategic goals and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including the C-level executive team.
  • Business Process Mapping: Map and model business processes and architecture at varying levels for current and future states using Microsoft Visio or other tools.
  • Data Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, ensuring robust and holistic analysis.
  • Project Support: Work with development and QA teams to define testing scenarios, use cases, and support manuals, as well as conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) when required.
  • Community Engagement: Contribute to the Business Analysis community by sharing experience and best practices, enhancing the delivery of business analysis across Card Factory.
  • Business Case Development: Support business case development pre-project, identifying and defining technical and non-technical options.
Requirements
  • Self-Starter: Be a self-starter who is not afraid to jump into projects and build understanding 'on-the-go'.
  • Certification: A BCS or IIBA business analysis certification is preferred.
  • Supply Chain Experience: Excellent knowledge of Supply Chain and/or Business Development processes, ideally with experience in logistics, warehousing, wholesale, and EDI.
  • Business Analysis Experience: Previous working experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Process Mapping: Demonstrable experience mapping and modeling business processes.
  • Methodology Knowledge: Demonstrable knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
