The Role: Young Persons Recovery Worker

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Young Persons Recovery Workers within the Herefordshire Recovery Service. In this role, you will play a vital part in empowering young people aged 11-24 who are navigating substance use challenges.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and develop personalized recovery plans for young clients.
  • Deliver evidence-based psychosocial interventions and support groups tailored to the needs of adolescents.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including clinicians, peer mentors, and other professionals from various sectors such as criminal justice, housing, mental health, and social care.
  • Build strong relationships with young people, fostering trust and creating a safe space for them to share their experiences and goals.
  • Promote relapse prevention strategies and equip young individuals with the skills and resources necessary for long-term recovery.
